About Us

Born from a small coastal town, we're inspired by our grandmother Lenore (Nordie) and her way of life. She lived for those sunshine filled days either in the backyard or by the sea, with her teeny-tiny bikini on and a camera always in hand. She is forever our inspiration, and we hope to do her proud. 

We make board shorts to be lived in. To endure what ever life throws at you (or doesn’t, that works too) and to stand the test of time. Practical, but cute - that’s what we’re going for.

 Each board short is carefully crafted to survive the elements. Made from recycled, super soft water wicking material, they truly are made for living.

 Rock climbing, nose riding, shell collecting? No problem. 

Nordies boardies will always have your back, or in this case - bum.
